Volunteer with A Global Voice for Autism
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer!
A Global Voice for Autism is dedicated to equipping refugee and conflict-affected communities to support and include children on the autism spectrum in all aspects of community life. From project-based opportunities to ongoing partnerships, your involvement can create new opportunities for the children, families, and communities we serve.
*Volunteering can have different definitions across countries and contexts. All volunteer opportunities below are unpaid. If you are interested in paid opportunities with A Global Voice for Autism, please visit our Careers page.

Fundraise for A Global Voice for Autism
One of the most effective ways to engage donors is through the networks of those who support our work. Fundraising volunteers lead online campaigns, engage their networks, and establish partnerships with businesses to support global autism inclusion.

Volunteer as a Parent Skills Coach
Parent coaches are lifelines for families, providing trusted support and guidance as parents navigate challenges and teach their children new skills. Coaches engage in weekly 30-60 minute coaching sessions with assigned families over a 6-8 week period, where they help families set and achieve goals.

Volunteer as a Parent & Teacher Trainer (Virtual)
Virtual trainers develop and deliver online trainings that advance participant skills in disability support and inclusive education. Some trainings focus on a single subject for 1-2 sessions and others are more expansive and offered over 8-12 weeks. All trainings are tailored to participants' culturnal contexts.

Volunteer as a Parent & Teacher Trainer (On Site)
Volunteering internationally with A Global Voice for Autism is a life-changing experience for volunteers and communities alike. Volunteers immerse themselves in the communities we serve by living in team accommodation, leading training, coaching and support sessions in partnership with local teams, and organizing community inclusion events.

Volunteer as a Translator or Interpreter
Translators and volunteers facilitate connections between professionals, families, teachesrs and communities around the world. From translating presentations to interpreting live interactions, volunteers have opportunities for both project-based and ongoing engagements to support our global community. Current language priorities: Arabic, Dari/Farsi, & Somali.
